Dennie Marks makes sure that all of us are #1! She was born in the Los Angeles are, has a BA in Education - Kindergarten/Primary Credentials CSUN, has been married for almost 38 years and has 3 children! After years of teaching she decided not to go back into the classroom but into the business world to do something creative. She established contact 1, Inc. in March of 1985. Starting with servicing the financial industry she continued to extend her efforts to other industries and offices utilizing executive gifts, etc. After two years time a customer requested something in the printing field and that is when being a Printing Broker became an integral part of the services provided by the company. They go to trade printers that will not service the end user to provide the professional office with all their printing needs. She prides herself with the fact that the very first customer Contact # 1 serviced back in 1985 is still an active account. There are not many business that can make that claim! Dennie said that :because she is considered a promotional product consultant in our sophisticated marketing environment, the company goes beyond just providing product. In bringing almost 18 years of experience in the promotional field to the Coachella Valley and developing a fine network of suppliers plus and extensive product database. Dianne Hayward earned her MS and EdM from Boston University, has a Master Addictions Certification and is a Certified Prevention Specialist. Her professional career spans 30 years as an educator, counselor, trainer, prevention specialist of which 20 are in the alcohol/other drug field. Her career took her to live in Germany for 23 years and has only been in the USA for about 5 years. she has worked inpatient, outpatient and in community prevention and has international training experience with Germans, Swedes, Greek and Turkish Cypriots. She began her own business about 2 years ago and loves being her own boss. Prevention Lady ahs a unique focus which is to to help people protect the things they value through alcohol and other drug prevention for adults. On the personal side she is married, has 2 dos, her husband has 4 horses (one of which is a palomino colt) up in Yucca Valley. It's the first home she has owned, and she loves the high desert!
